Concession Team Rules
GAYAA CONCESSION TEAM RULES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This document is a guide for all GAYAA
members of Brookley Rd Baseball; RF&P Baseball; and RF&P Softball
regarding Concession rules and responsibilities.
The
GAYAA Director of Concession will assign
each Team a concession duty shift (date/time).
Weeknight schedules are 2 ½ hours long.
Saturday schedule starts at 8:30am
.
1.
TEAM PARENT
is responsible to
a.
Have
at least
4 volunteers scheduled for
concession during the entire scheduled assignment.
b.
Schedule
team concession duties in at
least 30 minutes
increments
.
c.
Ensure that their team volunteers are present
for scheduled time.
If the scheduled team
is a
“NO SHOW” or if there are not 4
volunteers in concession, the Manager on duty will and has the right to
forfeit the game of the scheduled
Team.
This is considered as a loss for
the scheduled team.
2.
SCHEDULED TEAM
a.
Must
be in concession
at least 30 minutes
prior to game start to assist in food preparation.
b.
Scheduled
team is responsible to stock drinks and clean up before leaving their scheduled
time or before the end of the last game.
c.
At the end of day if concession is slow, the Manager on
duty may close the concession early and dismiss the Team on duty early.
3.
Volunteers
must be
16 years or older to work in
concessions.
No one under 18 years old
is allowed near or around the grill area.
a.
Beside
the scheduled team, only the Concession Committee is allowed in concessions.
4.
Rainouts
– The team scheduled
for the game that was rained out will be reassigned another shift.
