Team Parents

Welcome to the 2010 Glen Allen  Youth Athletic Association (GAYAA).  Attached is the long awaiting Baseball Concession Duties that everyone has been patiently waiting for and I know we have lots of very anxious parents that are ready for the concession duties.  For new comers specially the Instructional T-Ball Moms/Dads, please do not be afraid to ask questions or reach out to any of my assistants to ask help.  Being new is always a scary thing.  You can also reach out to other parents that has done this before.  They are your subject matter experts.                                                                                                                                                                                                  

Before you open the attached sheet there are few things I want to cover about the concessions.  Your concession duties are scheduled based on when your team is scheduled to play.  I have chosen the assignment time as close or during your scheduled game time.  Once you have reviewed this document and your duty date/time does not match your game schedule date/time please let me know right away. 

1. The concession duties hours is 2 hours per shift.  The Manager on Duty can make the call if he/she chooses to     close early.
   
2. Read your Concession Rules and Responsibilities. 
3. Softball Concession Duties will be available as soon as everything is squared away with the games scheduling.  I will send another email as soon as the Softball Concession Duties is available.
4. Instructional T-Ball ONLY – Even though your game is only 1 hr long, please make sure you let your parents know that the concession duty is 2 hours. 
5. You can escalate any issues to the Manager on Duty.  If you need to further escalation please email or call me.
6. As I have explained during our Team Parent meeting some of the teams may have 1, 2 or 3 concession duties.  The teams that have one also have carnival duty which also equates to 1 concession duty.  For the most part, I really have tried to only assign 2 concession duties per team.  Unfortunately, based on the number of games and number of teams, some of you may be working in concessions 3 times. 
7. This sheet will be posted to the GAYAA website along with the Rules and Responsibilities.  We will also have this sheet in all the concessions. 

 I want to THANK each and every one of you for volunteering your time on behalf of your Team.  Your Managers very much appreciate everything you do for the TEAM.
