Jack Bourne
Mr. Bourne Dedicated four years and countless hours to negotiate the rights to purchase and build a place for GAYAA teams to call home, a home which now bears his name.
Dave Carter
A “founding father” of our Association, Mr. Carter organized GAYAA with a personal loan and served on the inaugural Board of Directors. Awarded the first “lifetime membership” by GAYAA.
Dick Glover
Mr. Glover was the former Brookland District Supervisor and huge youth sports fan, advocate and supporter. He was instrumental in generating support to remodel RF&P Park, which has become a second home to GAYAA teams and has helped put Glen Allen, and our Association, on the list of top venues and organizations in the region, if not country.
Rebecca Slough
A GAYAA Board member for nearly two decades and a former President of our Association. The blood sweat and tears shed to support the Association would be enough to warrant this honor in its own right. However, her performance in the dugout is also among the best we’ve ever seen. Few have the opportunity to play/manage in a World Series, much less win them. Not only is Mrs. Slough the first female manager to win a Babe Ruth World Series, she is the only one.....and she’s done it twice.
