Softball Information
2025 Fall Season:
- Jerseys provided by GAYAA
- Pants, Socks and Belts are determined and communicated by TEAM managers
- Catchers- personal gear recommended. GAYAA provides a limited number of sets
- Gloves, Cleats, Helmet with FaceMask and Softball Fielding Face Masks are required
- Bag and Batting gloves are recommended
Bats must be marked as "Official Softball Bat" or "Official Fast Pitch Bat" (No 2020 Easton Ghost, Gold color)
GAYAA Softball is chartered under Babe Ruth and falls under the Old Dominion Girls Softball League "ODGSL" which includes several area Softball Leagues.
**SUBJECT TO CHANGE INFORMATION** This will finalize at the ODGSL Board of Directors Season Meeting.
- Practices: Start End of August
- Games: Start September. Games are double headers on Sunday scheduled 1pm and later
- End Of Season Tournament: End of October

Glen Allen Softball is sanctioned by Babe Ruth League and falls under the ODGSL (Old Dominion Girls Softball League)
ODGSL is comprised of several local leagues: Rockville, New Kent, Varina, Sandston. Home games are located at RFP. Away games are played at the other league locations.
